Life, in it's daily momentum, often becomes a series of mechanical actions or 'operational work' that typically occupies the day. This is not a gender specific issue but more a age related outcome. As a child, we don't care about anything. We are oblivious of activities around and just focus on what we want. As we grow up, we are more aware, and tend to take responsibility. As we are growing up, if not earlier, most of us are hit by the reality of money. That we need to make some to survive... and a little more to make life a little better and so on.... Until we grey a little (or a lot :)) and figure out money will never be enough, unless we begin to think that it is ! I am currently reading Going Postal by Terry Pratchett . The characters might appear to be unreal, or is it the world surreal (!!!), but what they say makes a lot of sense... Here goes an extract : Money in not a thing. It is not even a process. Life is a funny thing... atleast most of the times.. We get what we don't want, Not what we expect.. Love the ideal, Miss the real... See what we want to, And ignore what we have... And then, on one of those depressing nights, regret doing it all..
